They say that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, I’m still searching for this enjoyment in the workforce. My current employment has left me worn down and burnt out. They promise promotions, raises, and the opportunity for growth within the company, but when? I want to spend my days hiking, photographing, and meeting extraordinary people. I want to travel and write amazing stories that will encourage others to go on adventures of their own. If only I could find the motivation to erase the exhaustion from working beyond expectations and physically wearing my body down. If only I had the time to venture out and do the things I love.
What does this mean? It means I need to get off my ass and work even harder at discovering a way to fulfill my desire to love what I do for a living. I decided to build a blog as a stepping stone towards leading myself to finally complete the goal of never really working another day in my life. Until then, I swear this job sucks!
